    Top speed Stark Varg

Interesting. I guess until there rework the track's power issues they don't need to worry much about it.

    Top speed Stark Varg

Why do they ban E bikes? If it's not about safety (battery fires, lack of noise) then you probably all ready have your answer as to what is faster.

    Top speed Stark Varg

This guy gets pretty good speed (109mph) out of his Super Moto set up.

The Battery Management System (BMS) may have a role in this too as it is responsible for keeping those batteries zipping along at peak performance by monitoring, communicating and protecting the system. All sorts of BMS variables are involved such as protocols, State of Charge, State of Health...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

Yes, I was having issues and it turned out I had too replace the battery. I think the software or hardware went bad. But anyway they told me to uninstall the old app then install the new app. Also get a good 4G/5G signal and give it time to load.

Owner's Review Stark Varg vs Alta MXR

My major concern with the Alta would be the no-longer-made-electronic parts availability.

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

Yes I received the Stark Email Saturday. Stark is replacing the battery but they don't specifically say what is wrong. It could be a bad cell or a component other than a cell inside the cases causing the issue. There is no advertised method for checking for fault codes at the user level at...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

Stark emailed me today and said it's the battery. Sending me a new one. I don't know if the update had anything to do with it but it sure was coincidental.

    Front tire choices

I ride gnarly Arkansas s/t with rocks and roots everywhere. With the stock suspension everything sucked. Did a re-valve and put in .44 springs was much-o better. Also pulled the tubes and installed UHD tubes. Running 12 psi and the stock front is working well although at 15 hours it's...

    [UPDATE] Firmware v1.0.76 & App v1.0.108

My Varg is dead after the update I did Tuesday. After I made the update just for kicks put in a race mode to see what the process was like. Then I turned the phone off because I was getting ready to wash the bike. Now all I get is a red light that goes off when I release the power button...

    Maximum Scramble Range

Yeah that's Shane. We parked next to each other at the enduro. We both had the same charging issue; that being the while on the charger the reout would show one percentage of battery left but when you disconnect the charger the % would drop. In my case it went from 40% to 27% within a mile.

    Maximum Scramble Range

I rode the White Rock Enduro (Arkansas). For those unfamiliar with the WRE it is comprised of tight woods, rocks, hills, rocks, tight woods, hills, rocks, creeks and on and on. It was the usual beat up crappy rocky 8 mile transfer to the first test. The first test was hilly & had a lot of...

    Maximum Scramble Range

I'm riding my Varg in an enduro tomorrow. Tight woods so slower speeds. Probably run 30 HP and zero re-gen. Short Couse is around 55 miles. Do I expect to finish? No. I figure I'll need to bail around the half way point but maybe not.

how to put the bike on a stand without help from others

I'm 66yo and yes the Varg is a bit of a hefty girl but I've been lifting my XR250 onto stands for years (weighs about the same) so I was used to it. I also thing the Varg stand is a bit taller so that may be part of it. I think using the rear fender and not the grab handles helps too.

Owner's Review I Finally got my Stark…Pros and Cons

Here is a close up picture of the SAG measurement point on the rear fender. Setting the "Sag" is part of getting the suspension correct for your weight and involves adjusting the preload on your shock.

Owner's Review I Finally got my Stark…Pros and Cons

On another note; Stark parts prices are pretty good. Complete factory plastic for around $150, nice aluminum rear sprocket $35 and a complete LHRB (including, caliper, pads, hoses and master cylinder) ready to bolt on for $350. When I installed mine it was shipped full of fluid. I had to...

Owner's Review I Finally got my Stark…Pros and Cons

My tubes are still going strong after 3 hours of rocky Arkansas s//t. I'm running 12 psi to help them out. Ride #2 but first some Varg bitchin': I put on new plastic. Everything is modular & the panels to clip together then get attached to the seat with six screws. Not hard but not EZ, a bit...
