The suspension choices between those settings were just clicker changes. There have always only been 3 different spring rates (all 3 using the same valving settings).
I'm glad someone started a thread dedicated to this topic! I made the decision last spring when my Varg showed up to fully disassemble the bike and re-grease. I'm sure glad I did as there was next to no grease across the board.
Based on what I found I highly recommend everyone check their...
I am a little disappointed in crawl mode yesterday. Encountered some "mild" switchbacks and figured it was a great spot to test the crawl mode in the wild. I got off the bike and did a long press for forward crawl. The bike didn't move at all. Very frustrating! There must be some torque limiter...
The app may have said 6 amps before but I seriously doubt it was pushing that much current. They have likely just updated it to reflect the actual charge current.
Had my first chance to take the new firmware for a spin. Overall I think it's an improvement.
Can definitely tell there is less wheel spin. No measurable increase in range IMHO (gnarly single track). Kept my default 52hp but lowered the regen from 100% to 70% as I feel it's a bit more powerful...
Interested to hear your feedback. I have also narrowed in on 52hp for woods riding. I really like the snap down low and would hate to give that up. Maybe if you feel the throttle response try 60hp for me to see if it's similar to the old 52hp. Also curious to get your feedback on range.
What's the consensus on the update? I've heard that it isn't as ideal for enduro bc you can't blip it as aggressively to lift the front wheel over logs? Anyone feel a range benefit? The crawl mode is cool but IMHO not worth it alone. Trying to decide if I take the plunge before a 2 week riding...
I too have issues with with the app sometimes not recording rides.
I've also noticed the ride length to aways be shorter (approx. 10%) than reality. I've compared it about a half dozen times to my independent fitness watch on my wrist and Onx running on the stark phone at the same time.
Not...
I'm pretty picky about my brake setup and I will say an oversized rear brake rotor was the ticket for me. I can lock the rear wheel with a single finger and it has great feel (not affiliated in any way)...
