Stark varg support is the worst

No need to be sorry for me, and I've not denied myself anything as I chose other bikes and have been loving them. And I haven't had to deal with any of the negative issues raised in this thread, and the many other threads from a $12,000 beta version of a bike. I knew the "I love my Stark!"...

Stark varg support is the worst

Stark's tech support model is failing because they are not investing the funds to make it consistently effective, just like most corporations do. I'm sure Stark is trying harder then most companies, but I don't think they realized just how much support their customers would need. Customer, and...

    2025 KTM Freeride E

My thoughts exactly. Why bother? I don't get it.

    Phone Screen Repair

When I learned about the phone I knew it was going to be a debacle, I'm sure many felt the same way. An unnecessary, vulnerable, and expensive device. A simple display like what we've been using for years on dirt bikes with some added features to suit the e-dirt bike functions would have been...

2019 KTM 450SXF Factory Edition Conversion to Electric Street Legal

Very kind of you, thank you. I'm basically fine, not dying anytime soon (that I know of ha ha), just adjusting to diminished capabilities. I've had many years and many great times riding dirt bikes, so all good. Last summer I bought a 26 yr old, 330,000 miles Porsche 911 convertible and drove...

2019 KTM 450SXF Factory Edition Conversion to Electric Street Legal

Couldn't agree more on you have to ride one to understand how capable and fun they are. And of course test ride in an area similar to your favorite riding places (single track, motocross, etc). The precise, instant, predicable, and repeatable nature of the throttle is fantastic. Never needing to...

The big Stark Varg Supermoto pictures thread

All of a sudden I desperately need one of these killer SM's, lol. Sweet looking rides guys.

Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

Great pic! And nice setups, looks super fun. I'm guessing a KTM 500 road race bike (not supermoto) would be a rare site on the track. Thanks for posting.

Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

We need a pic of that 500 in road race trim, sounds fun.

Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

It’s the rotating mass that makes the difference. Less of it on the smaller displacement bikes, more of it on the larger displacement bikes. I feel a big difference between a 125, 200, and a 300. So much so that I’ve never wanted a 300. Ridden all of them many times. Perhaps not everyone...

Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

My '07 KTM 125 SX had surprisingly good power down low. I could putt around just above idle and then snap the throttle for acceleration or to hop a log, so much fun. Same for my Husky WR125 that I put a 165 kit on, both bikes single track slayers ha ha. Op, sorry for the thread jack!

Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

Thanks, the HVR MX2 looks very interesting, around 218 lbs, $10,351 USD, I will check it out. Unfortunately it looks our current administration has imposed a 15-25% tariff on Germany to import to the USA, so that's a deal breaker right there. I might have to force myself to build one from a KTM...

Varg rider considering YZ conversion for less weight

I'm with you on the weight issue, my ideal tight single track/flowing trails dirt bike is around 200 lbs, up to about 240 max. I've owned everything from 125 2st motocross bikes, 250 2st, 350 4st, and even rode my old KTM 520 EXC in the gnar. Loved them all, but my favorites were the 125 2st's...

I love this bike, but already have problems...

They've been doing the bait and switch since they announced that they were taking pre-order NON-refundable deposits. They advertised the bike as 240 lbs, custom power maps, some other stuff that did not happen, I can't remember all the details. Bike is finally produced and being sold, its 265...

Crashed bike and need help getting it out

The heart rate monitor setup, lol! I've maxed out my heart rate a few times dragging my bikes back onto the trail on steep side hills by myself, just 10 feet or so! Nearly died, ha ha.
