Light Bee + Alta Redshift SM @ Sonoma Kart Trackday [June 30, 2025]

Yeah the grip is amazing on this track and it's probably because the karts lay so much rubber on the track. It was about 80F and lots of breeze it wasn't too bad with leathers. If it's really hot I will wear my dirtbike gear. But yeah I was pretty tired after I must have been sweating a lot...

Light Bee + Alta Redshift SM @ Sonoma Kart Trackday [June 30, 2025]

Time to go home Sonoma Karting Center has changed a bit since the last time I was here. The building changed a bit. They got rid of the nice restroom trailer but at least they paved the whole pit area now. No more pitting on gravel.

Light Bee + Alta Redshift SM @ Sonoma Kart Trackday [June 30, 2025]

Some pictures at the track After first session This battery overheated. Really bad for the controller because it just suddenly cut power Spicy Redshift down to 40% charge The Pit The other bikes at the track And no I didn't get to see the Varg on the track. Looks like a Varg EX...

Light Bee + Alta Redshift SM @ Sonoma Kart Trackday [June 30, 2025]

With the magic of the software Telemetry Overlay software and a GoPro I can get my laptimes without sitting in front of the computer with a stopwatch. Redshift - Looks like the Redshift is doing around a 1:07 Light Bee - Looks like the Light Bee is doing 1:10

Light Bee + Alta Redshift SM @ Sonoma Kart Trackday [June 30, 2025]

I was planning to race in the Moto America Mini Cup Qualifier Race at Sonoma Karting Center in July. So I decided to do a trackday there before the race because it's been a minute since I have raced here. Here's some videos of my practice day to get an idea what the track looks like. I'm not...

WR250E Kart Track Action at Desert Park Raceway Reno, Nevada

There was a 12 Hour Endurance race that took place at Desert Park Raceway on May 24-25, 2025. I wasn't endurance racing the WR250E but I took it so I can see how well it does on a tighter kart track. I've only raced it on a nascar oval supermoto race and it doesn't not like that highspeed...

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric using Stark parts

Yeah for an ADV bike I'd like to at least go 100 or even 150 miles on a charge. I don't think 14.4kwh will cut it. The Energica Experia has like 21kwh

    2020 Honda CRF 450 Build

I remember I went to an AHRMA race and they have a class called Formula Lightning and it's an all electric class and I talked to this guy that had oil cooled his Zero SR motor. I wish I got a better picture of it. He must have machined some kind of jacket to fit over the motor and pumped oil...

    2020 Honda CRF 450 Build

There are 2 situations where I can overheat a motor repeated hillclimbs and supermoto racing. Hillclimbs because you are putting a lot of load and not going that fast. Lugging the motor causes it to overheat and holding the throttle wide open then slowing down and speeding back up again. At...
