I have a MX and a EX. I wanted to install screen protectors on both phones. There weren’t many choices for quality ones. Stark offers one for the EX but it isn’t that nice IMO. There’s a few on eBay and Amazon for MX’s but reviews said they don’t fit completely perfect. Slightly small at the...
I put a lot of hours on dirt bikes per year. I am a big fan of the SC comfort seat. I have them on all my bikes. I can say without a doubt that it’s a massive upgrade especially on the Stark!
I actually found out about them when I put my first one on a KTM 300. My latest bikes are a Stark MX...
I apologize for ransacking this original post into a wiring discussion.
I’m just now seeing this original thread start post.
I can add to this. I just removed my rear brake to replace with a LHRB. I also own a Stark gen2 MX with LHRB so I didn’t want the foot brake that came on my new EX...
Update on my lighting issue so far……
So Stark did in fact come through with a video chat call today!
The person assigned to my case (Josh) was excellent!!
It took a while to work through the email process but I have to admit that they came through plus have been very willing to send all...
Thx for this help as well @leadingedge . I did actually stumble across this thread previously when trying to figure out the wiring and particularly the horn.
Ironically Stark responded this evening saying they will schedule a support call this Friday. I will update this if I learn anything new...
Wow ok thanks for this useful info. I’m still not sure why the aux blinkers don’t function at all though. I also really can’t see any brake light difference now that I put the new tail light on. That’s without the auxiliary stuff involved. Lastly, is the hard shut down using both buttons...
I just purchased a EX. I bought it used but barely used. Less than 1 hour. The original owner crashed it and decided it needed to be sold. Just scratched a bit but fine. Anyhow he said the rear brake light, running light and turn signals including the add on signals have never worked but he...
Yes the original Stark kick stand also comes with two springs but I think they are a better quality and possibly even Stainless spring steel. If you look back on the first page (2nd) post down has a pic of the stock setup but shown with a few mods (screw to reduce forward anngle and auto retract...
And lastly, I’ve had this stand now for a while and ride regularly pretty hard. It has proven to do well with these mods. The bike also seems to stand up well even in softer areas because the angle is now correct plus the foot is plenty large enough even after rounding the foot. ( I cut back...
This one was also modified to prevent auto retract. See the tube like screw cup has been cut flush to allow the circular stainless steel pivot arm to pass over top when fully extended.
I rode yesterday and as usual I needed to do a fast re-charge to be able to finish my day. When I plugged in my charger powered in the parking lot by my 7 kw inverter generator, I saw this new 6.6 kw setting show up for the first time. This is on a 2025 (Gen 2) 1.0 MX.
My generator shows its...
Well this is all great info!! I’m really glad to read you’ve been hitting it hard for two years now without fail (well battery) 🤔. It’s seems I’ve de-railed the original topic with all this. Sorry for that Erwin!
I have a lifetime of experience on Ice bikes but new to the Stark or any...
