Even if they are not the same exact controller just with different heatsinks, I'm inclined to think maybe they're produced by the same manufacturer. Either way, they're both very good controllers; the x9000 v3 and the Ventus x9600

was it the ventus one, or the ventus one plus that you rode? Because the ventus one plus is the one I'm referring to that I'm pretty sure is using the x9000 v3. I may be wrong though, just what I thought I read or saw in a video from somewhere reliable

Really? I could have sworn Ventus themselves confirmed it was the x9000 v3 (not v2), just with a custom Ventus heatsink. The X9000 v3 specs specifically states input voltage range 40v-120v. So maybe the v2 can't handle a 84v battery, but the v3 sure can. I looked up the v2 specs, it says input...

the 165 they list is the 30h/35h that LBX's use. It's half the size, and no reduction gears. Which I'm sure also has the same hall sensor connector, but the tune will be completely different when selecting that than what's needed for the 165 60h v3

to be fair, I agree with stark that footpegs broken by an impact should not be covered under warranty. It's like any other warranty on anything else, where the warranty disclaimer is that it can not be caused by misuse or abuse, physical damage. Only covers manufacturer defects and failures out...

Just to add some info to this thread, I got ahold of Charged Cycle works and asked them if they have any harnesses compatible with the qs165 60h v3, and they do not. the ventus controller is an x9000, just fyi. Which fardriver controller do you have? and when did you buy it, and what version of the app were you using with it? It was probably a setting not set correctly for why you couldn't get it to work. Or you had a bogus version of the app; there's a lot...

I really wish fardriver had variable regen. It's such an amazing feature, and fairly simple to encorporate in a controller. I don't understand why more companies haven't started putting that feature in their controllers yet. I suppose it's cost, because that would require producing a different...
