Thanks @OneLapper! Fixed the tire today- then husband and son watched the video and removed the 9v battery- dead. Set it up so it sticks out the plug up top and can be replaced again easily. Next we gotta figure out what the parasitic drain is! Exciting to make some progress. Thanks for all...

they're checking the pins now. it was working perfectly fine, he parked it, and the next time he tried ( a week later) it didn't work. He guesses he left it around half charged.
