This is what my husband/son did. They made a switch so the 9v battery power can be shut off. Day one- worked great!!

Thanks @OneLapper! Fixed the tire today- then husband and son watched the video and removed the 9v battery- dead. Set it up so it sticks out the plug up top and can be replaced again easily. Next we gotta figure out what the parasitic drain is! Exciting to make some progress. Thanks for all...

Hi all, I'm back and wondering if we still have BCU's available or if you know of any people near Massachusetts that know how to fix these bikes? My husband and son will jump in to do the work but I'm the online communicator and part purchaser :) Thanks for everyone's help back in July. Busy...

The battery was about half full when it didn’t turn on. And it can’t be charged unless the bike is on... who’s idea was that, anyway? 🤪

Thanks, we just were feeling frustrated that they shut down and our guy can’t service them anymore, so it’s exciting that there is an option. We are very patient :) We have only electric cars and my husband has replaced battery packs on an old Solectria, but I know that’s different than opening...

That was early June

they're checking the pins now. it was working perfectly fine, he parked it, and the next time he tried ( a week later) it didn't work. He guesses he left it around half charged.
