I think your range will increase when the weather warms up. I don't know if you'll get to 40 but I would guess 35 on that terrain once it warms up.

Are there handlebar mounts off another bike or something that have more offset than the stark mounts? I want to move the bars rearward, my wrists do not like bars with much sweep and I don't want to raise the bars with riser adapters rotated rearward or whatever.

I think I'm faster on the stark on some courses but one I race that I think I'm faster on the gas bike is relatively slow and develops large holes, on my old 300xcw I could float over them better due to the extra weight on the Stark.

Got my strike foam installed. It weighs about 1/2lb less than the stock foam. Like said above it feels about the same firmness. Doesn't feel particularly high quality, reminds me of the last guts foam I had (this was 20 years ago so things there may have improved). It shipped from Australia so...

Racing my EX last weekend on a hilly course with a 15mph average I was using 30-35% of the battery every 5 mile lap, so about 15 miles total range. Local trails I get about 30 miles off a full charge. Slow technical riding I'm getting about 4 hours off a charge.

Is anyone running a dual caliper rear brake that allows the use of a front style caliper? Or is there another way I can increase the power enough to have a one finger brake?
