Stark mobile charger is out !

I remember having read somewhere, I think from some Stark's document, but don't quote me on this (I mean don't quote me unless you are replying to this post :)) that the battery was supposed to experience a continuous reduction in capacity up to the point that, after 500 full charging cycles...

Stark mobile charger is out !

Very interesting. Considering 75% of 7.2 kwh, i. e. 5.4 kwh, in in 45/60 minutes, it must be indeed charging at more than 5 kw. Pretty weird that Stark hasn't sent any email about this update. I'd like to know whether there are signs of burns on the pins of the Schucko plug, though.

In 2026 there will be an electric class in the World MX Championship

I guess that this is better than nothing: it gives visibility to smaller e motorcycles that the specatators may want to try to have some easy and cheap fun:

Stark mobile charger is out !

Actually, if you recharge, at 25 A, some series of P50B let's say made up of 100 cells each, it will be done at a voltage that will be roughly 360 V and that will rise during the charge, so the calculation isn't 25 A • 220 V = 5.5 kw; it's 25 A • 360 V = 9 kw and if you wanted to use a 220 V...

Stark mobile charger is out !

On their Instagram page, Stark has posted a picture of the portable charger with the writing "charging capacity 3.3 kw", so I guess that the option is for a new fast charger.

    The Gray Ghost

Of course I can't know for sure but I suspect that it's more to prevent chain rubbing. Racing 450 supermotos usually have 160 or 165 and the Aprilia SXV550, whose weight and power are similar to a Varg Alpha, was sold stock with a 180 on a 5.5" rim  Now I don't know how the Varg would...

    The Gray Ghost

I'm pretty sure that the battery doesn't have an active cooling system that senses the temperature and adjusts it: it only has air cooling via fins. The wheel diameter, as you surely know, affects the acceleration of the bike. Your previous rear wheel was a 140/80-18 (noticed it in some of your...

    One-wheel EVs

4.2 kWh, 93 mph / 150 kmph stated top speed, 0-60 mph / 0-96 kmph in 6.1 seconds, tested in the video o_O Unfortunately, according to an AI I've asked about it and like I expected, such a vehicle wouldn't be street legal here in Italy and honestly I don't know what to think about its safety.

    Issues after motor swap

I didn't measure mine, but it was the right length.

    Issues after motor swap

The inlet and the outlet hoses would be impossible to connect if the cover were installed rotated.

    Stark Varg SM

I would have expected a 150 or 160. At least here in Italy, but I bet in France and in many other countries, too, the vehicle registration certificate lists the allowed tyre sizes and usually there is more than one; hopefully, they allow bigger tyres to be used. They also use a 4.5" rim...

Surron Ultra Bee Broken Frame and Swingarm

Sorry to see that. So is the swingarm made up of steel? Not that I'm suggesting it, but what is your opinion about welding the cracks?

    Varg suspension

I've just found out that now, on Stark's site, there are spare parts for the fork such as a rebuild kit, single components like the dust seal and the oil, too.
