Did hope for the opposite and I notice no warning of this.
We had an issue with the stark phone and ended up having to wipe it clean and start again.
Had it on charge between sessions and I noticed it said it was charging at 2.7 kw at 100% instead of the usual 3.3 kw. did wonder if it was a setting we had put in the phone but could not see anything. I asked another stark rider what his was charging at and his was 3.3 kw.
I sent a message to stark asking about this and the first reply seemed a fob off trying to hide the facts, I sent another more strongly worded message and got this reply.....
" Thank you for reaching us again. We are sorry for what you are sharing with us. And we would like to apologize if there has been any inconvenience generated by this situation.
The latest version of the VARG APP takes into account, as a safety measure, both the capacity of the components of the charger and the characteristics of the electrical installation of every country. So, dependeing on where the VARG is, the charging power and current will vary accordig to the conditions described before.
This measure it´s momentary untill we develop faster and safer charging solutions for the future. We suggest to keep your VARG APP up to date.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can assist you with.
Best regards,
Stark Future Team "
A sugar coated way of saying your stark will take longer to charge!
Wonder if this will just get added to the list of things promised but never delivered.
It seems as part of reconnecting the phone to the bike it must have done an update to the latest stark app, the other stark rider I spoke to must not have done the update.
Was getting close before but a fast rider at a sandy mx event even arriving fully charged and on constant charge between motos could well be out of charge before the end of the last race/session with this increased charging time.
I assume for stark to do this they have had a few go up in smoke?
