So... What Exactly Happened to ALTA Dirt Bikes? (Parts 1 and 2)

So the electric dirt bike and supermoto still have a ways to go.
The SM A-pack with Panasonic cells is a ~2010 battery technology. I could never get any decent charge into my first MX that I bough. On a summer day it would just sit there and the generator won't even be under any load. I had to sell it.

The MXR with its Sony R-packs is a completely different story. It can be charged quickly, in higher ambient temperatures, and then the battery cooling indeed makes a difference.

@Honcho your tech and bikes live on…and I’ve finally joined the club after 6 months of research :)

I just purchased one of the last 20 bikes you guys released - VIN ending in 530 - an Alta Redshift MXR - 2019. It has 13 hours on it and just over 100 miles…is like new. I’m going to enjoy the heck out of riding it down here in Florida in the palm forests of Pine Island ::woot::
