I wanted to have a place to share information on my Alta Redshift. I just bought it from the original owner.
She's a little tired, with maxed out chain tensioners, worn sprockets and no meat left on the brake pads.
Runs well enough for an 8 year old battery pack of VTC6 cells.

It's got RG3 suspension on it.
I'll be replacing the parts and posting to this thread occasionally when I find information related to it.

The last 6 of the vin are 000144.

Rear wheel bearings are 6005-2rs. Maple Ace sells a quality bearing for $13 for 4 of them or $10 for 2 on ebay.
Rear bearing seals are 47mmx32mmx7mm
Rear sprocket JTR897-52SC
Front sprocket JTF1901-12 (I think stock is a 13t)

Stock wheel bearing spacer is a chunk of steel tube 30mm, 25mm, 121.5mm, weighs 181g
We're gonna make one of aluminum and see what happens.

Replacement key is ilco 1611R

does the pack say A or R on it?
R pack = VTC6 cells
A pack = Panasonic NCRs

Oh! The "A" on the 5.8 badge must mean that it's the Panasonic cells! My mistake, the only thing I had seen was about the vtc6-- I didn't realize there was another cell.
What's the part number so I can look up the datasheet? A quick google search says the NCR18650* has a ton of variants.

I changed the gearbox oil today and topped up the coolant.
The PO had put rtv on the gasket and much of that rtv was doing laps around the geartrain. Plenty of metal shavings in the gearbox :(

Is there a 3d model of the battery cell holders?
Is there a kickstand setup available for sale or will I have to fabricate it?

There is no 3d model of the cell holders...there are plenty of modules available.
I do have the original gasket for the gearbox. I would recommend flushing it out if your seeing metal shaving (though the gears dont need much)
The cells are a NCR variant, similar to the NCRs used in Teslas of that era.

Got my kickstand on Ebay from Liquid Performance. Message them if you don’t see the listing, the kickstand is super nice quality compared to a Varg. It uses coaxial springs within the kickstand leg. As if a bunch of California engineers thought about it for a long time :)
