Hi,

I want to change out the rear spring on my stark.
Is it easy to do or do you need some special tools like some sort of spring clamp?

Thanks!

No special tools needed, it is very easy, just loosen the 2 notched preload rings all the way, and it becomes obvious how to remove the spring seat. Like everything else, there are youtube videos.

Awesome, thanks.

Somebody told me I needed special tools (like a spring clamp or something).
But happy to know I can swap it myself.

I swapped my rear spring last weekend without any extra tools.
Just removed the 2 bolts holding the rear shock, and removed the shock from the top. Pushing the subframe slightly to the left side you get a nice space to pass the shock.
