How exactly does the throttle work?

Can anyone explain how the Stark throttle works exactly? Is it wireless to a certain extent with a position sensor and wireless communication to the VCU?

Can anyone explain exactly how it works, if it is in fact wireless?

The throttle cable ends in a small box with sensor inside I would assume, and then has a connection / power lead to the bottom of the handlebar connector.

In one of the Stark company interview videos, they mention that it is not an in-house part, thus not wired through the inside of the handlebar like other electrical wiring. Apparently they will do that in future.

As I understand (and I may be wrong) the throttle has hall sensors that sense, or measure the amount of rotation, which send a variable voltage or current to the VCU through wires, no it is not wireless.
Perhaps @fsfs or another expert can chime in here...

It is just a coupler to go from the older generation JWPF connector as it came from Hirschmann to the current generation Higo style connector Stark uses now. Obviously they couldn't get Hirschmann to mount the Higo connectors first hand (or they have heaps of old Hirschmann throttles in stock), but it was already hinted a few times that Stark wants to develop their own throttle. Hopefully with lock on grips this time.
