Steg Pegz!

These are going mainstream in Moto.
This should give a little relief while I get the forks worked out.
I just ordered something a little different than a round puck, for a larger contact area. I will probably cut them in half?

First ride with them today and I'm blown away with how good they are on this bike.
Makes the ridiculous power of this bike so much more fun when you don't have to hold on for your life.
I highly recommend the further back option with double pucks!

I have double on my ktm..on varg got a longer bolt and run 3..perfect

My crude experiment has paid off in V2. The rubber bumpers were first installed further back with a flat boot contact surface similar to using 3 steg pegs. In this position they were hard to get locked in unless you were riding like Jett.
I moved them down and forward, making contact further down the boot, and cut them at an angle on a table saw. As soon as you get on the balls of your feet standing the contact is good. They aren’t noticeable any other time.
It’s going to require some technique and posture modification to best utilize them, but your boots get locked in place well.

Is anybody interested in one of these wedges for the Stark Varg?

This company makes them specifically for the KTM Rally bike but perhaps they will be interested in making it for the Varg if enough people wants them.
I hope price will be negotiable. I emailed them a few days ago and still wait for reply.

Otherwise, I'm thinking about setting a bounty for anybody willing to design and 3D print something similar.
Main considerations will be possibility for adjustments and a hard, grippy material.

That's cool that someone is beginning to make these available. The fitment will depend on each model bike's shape of the plastic side panels. I like the idea of longer, but not sure it's needed and may make fitment more difficult? My experiment was quite crude, and I changed the location several times. I'm not Jett and my foot position isn't always perfect Moto style, but the Stark has changed my world of being able to stand 10x more than ever before. Keeping your feet in the same place and not having to constantly reposition for shifting and braking is a game changer, and the boot pads only help and enhance that advantage. The real advantage is control while standing and how much easier it is on your arms. Before I changed my style, I was 2-3 laps before my arms forced me to stop out of safety, and it raised my heart rate too. Now with the easier standing position, my arms are rarely a factor in the length of my rides, and I'm able to put in 8-10 laps before my old self needs rest, it's a huge difference made possible by an "auto transmission" and hand rear brake and the boot rests. Most people are too worried about how it looks to try it, and mine are crude, but they work. A good 3d printed retail version would be ideal. Maybe I should get off my ass and get some made?
