Hey dirt riders!

I feel like riding a dirt bike on the beach, in the mountains, and in the jungle. I want a moto vacation! Who wants to go to Panama with me to ride a 5-day, 6-night Trans-Panama Tour from the Pacific to the Caribbean on March 29 to April 4?

This is a very popular tour this side of the Atlantic. They have rental KTM 250 EXC enduro bikes. For $3,000 you get the bike, hotel, tour guide, airport transfer, breakfast, lunch, and gas. You buy dinners yourself. Pack your helmet, boots, other riding gear, fly to Panama, and the rest will be planned and prepared for you.

Graham Jarvis guides some of these tours once or twice a year. He already led this tour once this year, but hasn't committed to any more dates in 2026. But other tour guides receive great reviews too, check it out.

Most of the tours get filled early. They have 3 open spots left for March 29 - April 4 dates.

These days, I ask Grok AI about such things. It's impossible to search through large websites and all reviews manually. Here is what I got:

The Trans Panama Tour doesn't list exact distances on the official site, but based on rider reports from similar trips, daily mileage typically ranges from 60 to 100 miles (about 96 to 161 km) per riding day. Over the 5 riding days, that puts the total around 300 to 500 miles (483 to 805 km), depending on route choices and conditions.

As for daily seat time, it's generally full days starting around 8:30 or 9 a.m. and wrapping up in the evening, with implied riding durations of 6 to 8 hours based on the itinerary's mix of trails, breaks, and transfers -- though this can vary with terrain difficulty, group pace, and optional sections. Reviews describe it as action-packed but well-organized, with time for lunches, swims, and recoveries.
