Stark Stark EX (almost) left me stranded - then died.

I was out riding some single track. Stopped for a break. Restart - red light was on, went to green, then green blinked off and went back to red. Played the 'press every button game' for a while and finally got it to respond. I thought it was OK and stopped again to talk to someone, then it was even harder to get going. Loaded up, went home. Removed the shroud/seat assembly, did the can/bus reset to no avail.
Couldn't get it to respond (if I could get the green light as soon as I hit the throttle, it would blink to red - no go). Also, check engine light is on. I took it to a local dealer who said they'd check it out and get with Stark and let me know. That was last week. No word yet.
I'll report back when I hear something. A friend of mine had a similar problem and took months to remedy. We just got into riding season! Hoping for a quick fix. Anyone have an issue like this? Thanks,
mg

Still dead, still in the shop. Two "link ups" with Stark so far - spread out over several weeks. No way to get ahold of anyone, just an email with a date for the link up diagnostic.
Heard from the dealer yesterday. Stark is analyzing the data but they "think" its going to need a drive train.
Dealer is trying, but here I wait...

Dealer? Which one?

I bought the bike online. I found out that AEO Powersports is a Stark dealer. I took it to their Mesa Arizona store. I just heard from them today that Stark analyzed the data and feels that the main wiring harness is faulty. They are sending out a new harness to be installed. So far AEO has done great trying to get a hold of Stark and keep me posted. But progress is slow. I'll chime back in after the harness is installed. Fingers crossed.

Sorry for the late reply. I wasn't sure anyone was watching, LOL. After several link ups with Stark (lots of delays due to scheduling and time difference issues) AEO was told the whole wiring harness needed to be replaced.
Stark sent them a complete harness (so I'm told - more delays) and AEO installed it right away and it took care of the problem!
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to ride it, even once, as I'm on the mend from a crash with surgery on another moto (which sucks!) but I ran it on the stand and it appears to be all good.
