New to Alta and this forum.

Hey all. I'm new here and I thought i'd introduce myself. I just picked up this 2018 mx. I'm an electrical engineer (High voltage substations) and I'm excited to learn about this bike. I'm in northern Minnesota. Looking forward to all the great info here! I also bought a parts bike in Florida. It's an sm without rims/front suspension/dash.

I have not joined a forum since advrider about 13 years ago when I was riding a ktm690 around the world. Cheers!

welcome and enjoy the bike. this forum is mostly stark varg now but there are still a lot of folks here who love and ride altas and are great with advice and parts.

got a lighting kit for the bike. Getting it sorted. Seems good except the brake light only gets around 4 volts when the lever is pulled. Gotta get that sorted.
