I do not recommend using that video for reference. The bike we ended up manufacturing was completely different.

Yes, but I would encourage you to be very careful. Code 33 is the one code that can kill you if it is real. Clear the code only after having checked you don't actually have an isolation issue.

A lowered pack will also get more mud/dirt caked on, and therefore have worse cooling.

For the record (and to my knowledge) EVERY SINGLE OEM ADVISES AGAINST PRESSURE WASHING MOTORCYCLES.

It might be a false positive, but you should make sure this is not the case. Check for isolation between the pack and the frame before anything else.

While we will not be able to help fix 100% of the bikes, a lot of ex-Altans are visiting this forum regularly and, with the community here, it should get you through most pickles.

Not quite correct: Zero uses a different battery tech (pouch vs cylindrical) and optimized for range when Alta optimized for performance. I don't think one is "better". It depends on what you are looking for.

Not 100% correct as it depends on the pedigree of the bike. SM front fender was made by Acerbis Bikes with 4CS/SM forks had fork guards from Acerbis. Xplor/AER guards came from Polisport MX/EX front fender started at Acerbis and when their tool started getting old, we switched to Polisport
