That's a great idea. Crowd source the battery build. Consider new 2170 cells, shoot for more range? and end up with an open source design that all can use. $300 a AOF member is a bargain to keep the fleet running. With no warranty of means of repair, I'm gun-shy to ride like I use too.:cry:

Why can't this be done using an old iPhone or Android? Both has enough storage, processing power, touch screen and build in accelerators, ect. Could be flashed as a dedicated device? or a mobile app.

FYI to anyone trying to title a 2017 ALTA or transfer title between states. I have done both with my used, 2017 "plated" MX (eMXr). DMV had a hard time determining the value of the bike since their Blue Book only had the $15K OEM pricing. So they tried to charge me tax as if it was brand new...
