FYI, you can ride the Alta with no mode switch. Set the bike in the mode you want then remove the switch. You'll be locked into that mode. Mine is setup that way, it works. Or, just gorilla tape the switch so it won't move.:cool:

Great offer! I value my time to driving to a dealer, spending the night, meals, waiting, and returning home.... Renting the laptop and cable is a viable option. FYI, The camera industry does this with high end ($5k-$10K) zoom/optical lens. You can rent them for the weekend with overnight...

I agree. Telsa has the same Philopshy. Max "range" Charging (more than 3-4 times in a row) creates a warning...e.g "battery life will be impacted". I have 75K miles (4 years) on my Model S, and have only lost 3% of the max range. I charge it to 75% capacity every night.

With changes coming it would be great to keep everyone aware of them. As a new owner who lives 6 hrs from a dealer... I have questions. I would like to maintain my own bike. Any insights are appreciated. Can you please post the TSB's that you are aware of and their costs, tools, skills...
