The EXSM went into blinkymode about three miles from home. Almost home, it went into limp mode then 50 yards later then it was it was no go. I found a good driveway, met some neighbors, parked the bike, walked home and got the truck. It was amusing. Neighbors were cool. I looked at the odo. 29...

I rode my EX conversion SM up Ham and back today. Almost. Blinky mode a couple miles from home, then cripple mode on the hill on the approah, then dead… I met some nice neighbors and left the bike in their yard and hiked home to return with the truck. Little thrills, eh?

Can someone tell me the KTM part number for the 2018 EX front rotor? I asked here Alta Maintenance Items Quick Reference but…. Crickets.

Can anyone ID the… Front brake rotor for a 2018 EX? Anyone know the part number for the presumably KTM thingy? When converting my EX to a SMEXy thing the rotor I got was a little bit out o true… and my goodness the SMEX is fun. Pretty impractical, but hey, bigfun.

Oh, 69 mph indicated top in map 2, 76 in map 4. Map 4 is a whole different motorcycle, but eats the battery waaaay fast. Or maybe its me.

I just ordered the DonJoy prefab one for some $500. I was measured for the fit etc. it looks pretty nice; a more durable design than my Breg. Ten day delivery time. The custom one was $300 more but is gauntteed forever.

Is 53 the stock EX sprocket? I don’t really want to go down there and count…
