In Israel, the Del Saggio upgrade is the most popular one for 4CS forks. They also have a version for the newer Xplor forks.
Although we use it here mainly for enduro and not MX, it is supposed to be the best bang for the buck upgrade. I have no personal experience with it though.
A friend broke her EX's display. Anyone have any idea where a new one (generic perhaps?) Can be found.
Will a descent electrician be able to fix such display, or we shouldn't even try?
A friend of mine with a EX, just broke the screen in a fall.
Basically, she has no way of knowing the state of charge, speed or map mode she is in (the bike runs fine).
Breaking an Alta specific part is a nightmare at the moment. So frustrating..
Anyone else noticed a metal clunk noise during jump, when the front fork is fully de-compressed?
I think it has been asked before.
Fork feels and behave fine, other than that.

I had my bike's firmware updated yesterday. Went well, and the new fw # was updated the same day in their site (after logging in to my personal portal).
Like Steve wrote, I'd also check the yellow box (the one on the cable coming out from the charger). If it is not pressed, than that's the error message you'll get.
This bike reminds the Zero FX with its direct drive motor and huge rear sprocket. Even the weight is about the same
I suppose much better components on the russian version.
Here is my chain equipped FX for example.
Eventually, installed the Michelin Starcross 5 120/90. It is the same size as in the motorcycle's licence, so I won't have problems in the annual vehicle's test.
The Rekluse kit does retain the rear brake light function, so don't worry about that.
Rekluse offer a specific kit for the Alta (pretty sure it is the same for KTM, just labeled differently). So, ask for that.
