    Alta Fast charger

Has anyone actually received their fast charger? I was forced to buy one with my MXR but they gave me the standard charger until the fast charger was available. I’ve asked my dealer several times but they seem to have no idea when chargers will ship.

    Regen in different maps?!

Tried it on 12/53, 13/53, and 14/53 14/53 works best for me. Still enough to clear all obstacles with reduced spin. I also compared back to back with my 2018 KTM 450 SX-F in 3rd gear. Obviously I can clear the sections much easier with the KTM. There is also a section on the track that...

    Regen in different maps?!

I guess it depends on the difficulty of track you are riding but I’ve found map 4 on the MXR is the only map that has enough grunt to clear big jumps directly out of turns. This is more of an Sx style of riding but there are a lot of Mx tracks out there with these sort of obstacles. Map 3 will...

    Front Fender Slap

FYI - The top hole for the number plate is 1/4-20 :)

    Front Fender Slap

Update - the fenders arrived! I mounted up the Husky front fender first and it went fairly well. I drilled and tapped the lower triple camp for M6 bolts then drilled 7mm holes in the plastic fender to match the bottom triple clamp holes. I’m not 100% sold on the looks of the Husky fender but...

Alta Redshift MXR and MX on a Dyno - Riding Maps Demystified

Very cool! Not that I would ever get above 45mph on the track but I find it interesting that the power stays higher after 45mph!

    Front Fender Slap

I considered that but I think it may take a bunch of washers to change the angle enough to matter.

    Holy 14T - Sweet Spot!

I would definitely like to see it! I have 45T, 48T, and 50T in my sprocket inventory.

    Holy 14T - Sweet Spot!

The 14t should give us some more life on the chain guides. It might be my imagination but I swear the 14/53 gearing sounds smoother overall.

    I would agree! No trolls!

    Front Fender Slap

I was just looking at the triple clamps and it sure does look like a KTM number plate and front fender will bolt right up! Going to order a 2016 Husky Front Fender and number plate now to see if it will work. :)

    Holy 14T - Sweet Spot!

I just finished riding with the 14T and it is exactly what I was looking for! I ran the 12T for about 5 hours then switched to the 13T. The 13T was better but I still found myself wanting a little less grunt and slightly more top speed. The first few laps with the 14T I found myself over...

    Front Fender Slap

Agree 100% You can hear everything on this bike! I can deal with the chain noises and the tires crunching but the front fender slapping has to go! Matt

    Front Fender Slap

Yes, I know exactly what it is an where its from. Why would it perform any different? 1. Because it feels like its made from bubble gum? 2. Because the angle of the fender is completely wrong. The tip of the fender is pointed down way too much. 3. If you've never felt a KTM fender then you...

    Front Fender Slap

I am noticing the front fender slapping the front tire due to the front fender being so flexible. This makes an awful racket every time it happens. Anyone else seeing this? I am looking for a more rigid solution similar to KTM.

    Battery Storage Temps

I’ve seen a few posts about battery care and figured I start another thread specifically about temperatures that we store our bikes/batteries. Summer temps in our garages can get extremely hot! Heat is one of the worst enemies of lithium based batteries. Combine high temps with a fully charged...
