Besides Lyndon Poskitt's two bikes in Europe, this is the third Alta we are aware of being stolen and the first that was reported stolen here on this forum.

I was also curious if the key was in the bike or not. If not, someone is going to want to figure out how to bypass the switch and potentially come here looking for answers.

I am with Matt on this one. I know in my area an organized group of mountain bike enthusiasts hand build and maintain some nice trail systems and bottom line is all E-bikes are going to cause more damage to these trails, so I can understand a certain degree of conflict between the two groups...

@Philip , we should probably sticky this. Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully the scumbags are caught. These bikes are few, and our members have feelers out everywhere for them, so if anything odd comes up I'm sure we will catch wind of it.

What datadog said (y) Both of our MXR's I had to add a little coolant a few times until all the air was worked out of the system. I'd be surprised if your bike did not have some air in it's system as well.

I'd first make sure the bike has the latest firmware if possible.

IMO I would check to see if there is a circlip in the hub and if the bearing has moved. Our 2018 MXR did not have the circlip while our 2019 did, so it would seem at some point they thought they should start putting them back in.
