    Great Dealer Experience

If anyone looking for a Alta in the Los Angeles area I highly recommend Beverly Hills Motorcycles. Had them update my firmware today and it was a pleasure dealing with them. No bullshit. The owner John Sullivan was a very pleasant and Fernando in service was top notch. Beverly Hills...

    Battery Pack Disassembled (Frustrating Weekend)

Mark911 What does the close cooling system run thru? Is it just the electronics? I was thinking that if we could add a external radiator that would help with the cooling.

    Whymee's 2019 MXR Build

I think the sprocket is on the wrong side so I don’t think it will work. Send ime the wheel and I’ll see if I can turn it around. Very nice looking hope it works on your new bike.

    Electricridepark.de

Sounds like a losing proposition since there’s not a lot of Alta in Germany. I guess the KTM Freeride guys will have a nice park to ride in. I always thought that a old warehouse would be an ideal place to have Alta rentals. We have indoor Electric go cart rental here in California.

    External Charger Fault???!!!

My harbor freight generator was putting up 17.2 V on the 12 V plug you might want to meter your plugs and see if it’s putting out the right voltage. I was running mine in the back of the van and it was popping the breaker. I think it was getting hot.

EXR Pick-up on 9/22/18 - what to look for?

You will adapt to the EXR quickly coming from road racing back ground. Get the suspension done if you riding in the dirt a lot. Keep the throttle open a little when jumping. Don’t ride with a sore throat you won’t be able to yell at the riders that you are passing. Get ready to answer a lot...

    Something to remember

When doing creative lines on a track REM “Un Race” that doesn’t have any banners you could possibly have your brakes fail 👍 Good thing the MXR has Re-gen. 👍

TCMB371 I started using the Arctic fan on charges and have not encountered any more power limiting codes. 👍 By my measurements the fan drops battery temperature 25+ degrees. A few times before using the fan I would get Max limited power at half a battery. According to Alta the bike slows...

    Harbor Freight 240V Generator

@ TCMB371 Yes my 240 predator generator charges faster than Fod charger using 208 V at our local track. I am trying out a misting fan (see other post) to see if the bike charges faster with a cooler battery. From 1/3 battery down it’s usually fully charged within 50 minutes. I believe...

    Harbor Freight 240V Generator

Mine would run at Mammoth but when I put a load on it and shut down. Also meter the plugs to check the voltage my 12 V plug was putting out 17.2 volts and burned up a 12 V charger.
