Map 3 has a little more wheel spin, quicker off the bottom and you can get a nicer Wheelie out of the bike. You are right that maps 2&3 at top speed is harder to tell.
My hole point was to learn the feel of each map just like what each gear feels like on a gas bike. Has nothing to do with how fast one goes. Once you get the feeling in your seat (ass) you will know what map you are in.
You guys crack me up all you need to do is leave it in maps 4 and learn to control it with your right hand 🤚😂
Go out and practice in each map you can learn the feel of each map and that way you know which map you are in.
It’s a lot like asking which gear you on in on a gas bike?
13 miles in .7 hours in map 4 down to one bar (not flashing) on a mx track. Was riding a decent pace not full race pace but always in map four. I think the battery will handle any normal Moto length in a race even in map four👍 Will be doing more testing in the coming weeks on different tracks.
Philip just a quick question are you shutting throttle completely off on the jumps in the air? II found that with the throttle shut off the front and will drop due to the regen. You need to keep it cracked open a little bit and this allows the bike to fly more stable.
The 14t takes some of the hit out and makes the power more smoother through the corners. A larger countershaft sprocket we used to use back in the 90s on our two strokes for less wear on the transmission and rear wheel pull on the suspension. I figured that with taller gearing at the same MPH...
I was wondering if anybody had any data on the throttle positioning on how it affects battery usage ?
Does map three pull more energy from the half to full throttle than map four from off to half throttle?
That’s their Vet track. Lots of fun and the flow is great, smaller jumps than their main track. They do a great job on the prep water all day long. The main track flow is also great with bigger jumps and tabletops.
They claim the dB is 70 and it weights 130 pounds with full tank of gas.
Use it all three times I road and once with Fod. I just pull it to the back of the van with the exhaust pointing out (that way I don’t have to pick it up) and let run. Sound was not to bad you can still talk 10 ft way. We...
