NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

You are still confusing KW vs KWh. That available power is NOT increased per hour, the number of hours is what is increased. I hope you will try to understand this: 60HP car = 60/1.34= 44.76kw (edited to correct math) The size of the gas tank is 6.5 gallons If you increase the gas tank to 7.2...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

You are confusing KW =1,000 watts, with KWh Kilowatt hours 1KWh = can provide 1,000 watts for one hour. By your formula 6.5kw *1.34 = 8.71 HP !! Please see below...

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Capacity does not equal more HP (although it can, based mostly on voltage). You could also have an 80HP bike with 2Kwh of capacity. But your range would of course be less than 1/3. Hope that helps clarify?

    Enduro Mods

I have the same question, did you re-use the foam?

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

Because the voltage stays the same, but the battery's storage capacity was increased. Also, as stated, the HP is limited by software.

NEW! STARK VARG EX is here!

With any given battery capacity, the more HP you use, the LESS range you will have. If you set your Stark for 10HP max, it will go a lot farther than if it's set for 60 or 80. All Stark Vargs that exist today (built as MX bikes) have the same battery and motor and they are software limited to...

    Throttle Stop

That's an interesting idea. And this wouldn't be necessary if they would give us the throttle curve control that they have been promising for 3 years. Yes, it's still on their webpage.

    Outside warranty window

I want to say my Varg has been absolutely perfect. But that's only if I ignore these very minor issues: 1) I had to do the screw mod to the kickstand. 2) I replaced the front plastic tube (put a tubliss in the rear anyway which I would have done on any bike). 3) The occasional minor...

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

I agree, I'm also old, the bike is heavy to pick up, and 60hp (much less 80) is not necessary. However, the less HP you actually use, the more range you have, and unfortunately, you can't make the bike lighter without sacrificing range. I have weighed both my Varg, and my 300 with a full tank of...

    3D printing parts (kickstand foot)

I've been very satisfied using the "screw stop" mod on the kickstand since I got my Varg in May. Very simple and effective, it just keeps the kickstand from swinging too far forward and corrects the lean. Adjustable by adding or removing washers under the screw head. The foot doesn't sit...

    Varg production numbers / VIN

Probably start at or near 1, but change some other letter(s) or number(s) in positions 4 through 8. I think the 8th position is usually the engine type.

    Stark handguards

The flag style handguards can guard your hands from briars and small branches, and as you stated: air! I wouldn't trust them, but some folks are afraid of injuries that can happen in the rare case that your hand or arm gets tangled up in the full wrap style.

    Outside warranty window

Pretty simple answer: NO ONE has owned a Stark Varg for over 2 years, so NO ONE is out of warranty. Bryan Haskell was the first customer to take delivery of his bike around May 18 2023.

2025 Stark Varg rumors, changes, etc.

Making the battery quick change will not make the bike lighter, unless they make the battery significantly smaller. Right or wrong, Stark does not think a smaller battery setup would be desirable to most people, especially on MX, where the high speeds chows the battery quickly.

Contact Stark support via their website. They generally reply the next day. Or, if you have a dealer nearby, ask them for help.
