My concern for sealing all case penetration is more for dust/grit/sand than water. Yeah, the swipe up does close the app, but thinking I may need to Force Stop it. It's a little different with this old version of Android, but you can go to the home screen, long press the Stark App, select App Info and then do a Force Stop. That will be my next experiment.
