    General Suspension on the EX

Yes but I don't pay much attention to the stock KTM shock. Fades in 20 min anyway at least on the PDS.

    General Suspension on the EX

Are you speaking of the traxx shock? No experience with that one. I wouldn't say it's all bad but for me it wasn't all good either.

    General Suspension on the EX

I certainly would if I had it. I'm sure if they had made improvements they show it. I'd bet the improvements are in the National shock.

    General Suspension on the EX

Old design, vid is 10 years old. Better stuff out there, but it looks cool.

    General Suspension on the EX

All I can tell you is to get my rider weight sag I first set my static at 35mm, very easy, so go to check rider sag and its like 130mm. So crank down preload to get 110mm rider sag and then it has like 20mm static which will get worse when the shock gets hot. Rear still feels dead although...

    General Suspension on the EX

Kevin at Stillwell Performance explained to me the oem spring is a open ended spring which makes them difficult to get your settings. I have the oem spring I'll take some pics to show the difference. The stark spring is the grey one. Like this on both ends.

    General Suspension on the EX

I used K-tech springs. I ordered the med springs when I ordered the bike and the stock springs were marked as 45's. Changed to 47's. My rear was marked 46-48 and we went with a 57.5, once again K-tech. My guess was they ran out of 54's when my bike was built. I could get correct static sag...

Not sure but I'd expect just the springs.

    General Suspension on the EX

J4DO. Just dead feeling, like I said, on the dyno the clickers did very little. I loosened the rebound up so the shock would return to the max stroke in the rocks but it still felt dead on the big hits. Like it was really heavy in the rebound damping. We completely removed the OEM adjuster...

Stark dual rear brake set up

So you've tried both? I know where it's located but I had my parts in a week, so I'm not going to complain.

    General Suspension on the EX

When I ordered my EX I ordered the medium springs since my weight is 195. I live and ride in the SW part of the USA so my riding is in Colorado and AZ. We have to carry at least 100oz of water on our rides. I quickly discovered the medium springs were way too soft for my 35 extra lbs of gear...

Stark dual rear brake set up

The racetorx is a quality unit and works well. Not sure if I'd buy from anywhere else.

Stark Varg EX in excessive heat.

Problem with the zip ties are most are made in China.

Stark Varg EX in excessive heat.

No not all the time but in the summer it usually gets over 100. If you have your car in the garage with the bike it probably gets over 100 also when you pull the car in.

Stark Varg EX in excessive heat.

Due to the delivery schedule I received the EX at the end of our riding season here in AZ. SV says to keep the bike under 86 degrees! Can't do that if you keep it in the garage here in the desert. If it's 105 outside and pull in a 200 degree car you're way over temp. Hard to justify cooling...

Owner's Review Varg EX suspension. Did you go Hard or Mid?

No joke. I put the bike on the stand a couple times and said the heck with this. Had an extra foot operated lift stand and use that. It reminded me of my XR but that was 40 years ago, lol.

Does 2% really mean 2% or is there a "reserve" in the battery?

Doesn't stark have several videos of Taddy and the boys running them down to zero?

I had mine on 35 and it lit the tire up on pavement! Stay safe bro. Did you get the Ti kit?
