Here’s an interesting build co-op with our own @ElectroBraap and @Mark911 converting a Honda Grom to Alta power.

Impressive! I linked this thread in Builds as well. Can't wait to see this thing running. With its lighter weight and smaller frontal area this Grom could end up being faster than the SM and with a longer range, if the new gearing doesn't mess up the electric motor's efficiency too much.

Well, I don’t know that for sure. Probably shouldn’t have said that cause in reality it’s a test bench setup and I don’t know.

But... I think I’m planning to turn it up; if I can get the help anyways.

Don't let not having a sheepskin fool you, ElectroBraap has great mechanical aptitude and intuition, more than most of the formally educated engineers I worked with in Aerospace (many I wouldn't even trust changing out a sparkplug!). Book smarts doesn't mean squat unless you can apply it in real world problem solving situations.
