Buying Alta abroad??????

Just put a deposit for redshift mxr! Planning on taking it to Bolivia!

Of course it comes with the latest software and all the known problems fixed.

In case a service is needed at a dealer's, it will take around 4 months and usd 2k - 3k.

I know the move is a bit "stupid". It looks like I really want it!

So the question: how stupid is it?
Also please reason your answers as I still have time to change my mind.

Welcome to the board Nikita. Risky might be a better term. You might not need any service (hopefully), so in that case it wouldn’t be bad. Maybe by the time you do their will be a dealer within a more reasonable distance as well.
