Are you talking about the cover on the deltawing (black plastic) or the coolant cover for the hose (a black plug or anodized plug later)

See picture. It snaps over the fill plug.

Its the plastic/composit iso-triangular coolant fill tube cover that fits in the recess . It has to be removed to get at the fill plug. See photo
