This thing is a blast!
I have two left feet, I never surfed, never skateboarded, and I tried snowboarding only once, but even then, it took me just an hour to stand up on this thing and then another hour to learn to hover over the water. I highly recommend!
It is similar to riding a wheelie. You have a remote with a throttle, which you keep pinned most of the time. You balance on the board, and you can drop the throttle if you need to. You also have to watch and control your altitude above the water precisely, which is a new skill that we land-based creatures never practice! It's a cool new feeling.
