I'm getting interested in what motor design Alta decided to use for their bikes, and if they differ across models.
Would anyone know if they built Induction, surface-mounted perm mag, interior s-m perm-mag, or line-start motors?
What kind of motor controlling are they using? Do we know what motor feedback the controller is monitoring?
I want to see how technical of a design they brought to the market, and why they used what they did.
