Here in Europe the EX doesn't come with the kill switch on the right side.
So I asked SAM about what it does, answer:
So I ordered one, installed it and must see it behaves EXACTLY like the red button on the left side. So how is it working in US? Is SAM right and is there a real difference between US and EU Bikes?
So I asked SAM about what it does, answer:
When you press the kill switch on the Stark VARG EX (as equipped for the USA), it immediately powers off the motorcycle. It does not simply switch the bike to neutral; instead, it cuts power to the motor and disables the bike for safety. This is a hard cut-off, intended for emergency use, and is not the same as switching to neutral mode via the control switch.
For normal operation, you can use the On/Off button on the control switch to turn the bike on or off, or use the neutral mode for disengaging the throttle. The kill switch is specifically designed to instantly power off the bike.
If you have further questions about the kill switch or other safety features, please let us know.
