Fast 7kW charger

Stark replied to a comment of mine that as of today the 7kW charger will be availbale. It's now for sale in their webshop and costs €799:



It does need a 3 phase 400V 32A though.

Nice one. At the same time - most people won't have a 32A socket in their garage; yet, it is too bulky to take with the bike to use 22kW AC charging stations on the way.

The design choice is questionable: Why not use 2x or 3x 16A phases? It's not like 3x32A is required to put out 7kW DC. That rules out all 16A three-phase outlets and all 11kW charging station, which probably is what most private EV drivers have in their garage.

Well there are adapter to 3x16A but indeed bulky. Probably worth it to rewire yourself. It's not hard.

The best usecase is if there is a type 2 charger near where you park the van. That starts to happen out here at some MX tracks.
