We have all seen the Him-E test vids, promising adventure bike taking heavily from the Varg with 13 kWh battery pack consisting of 2 Varg 6.5 kWh batteries and what appears to be a similar engine.

But the first production electric motorcycle from RE will be the Flying flea (may be released under its own brand), simple, retro looking street bike, likely 125cc equivalent.

Of course first testing was done in Barcelona

Testing is also underway in India, the bike is scheduled for release next year.
Gotta laugh at a company publishing official vids with camo stickers.

In november '24 it was official that the motor came from Stark Future:
Royal Enfield To Enter Electric Moto Market With ‘Flying Flea’
But still in november they said that battery, motor, bms had been developed "in house":
THE ‘FLYING FLEA’ HAS LANDED | Flying Flea Media.
Well, considering also the tests in Spain, probably Stark is somehow involved. It could be pretty beneficial to them if they were suppliers, since most of the vehicles in India are motorcycles:
India: share of two-wheeled vehicles in operation 2020| Statista.
so the possible transition to EVs in India would presumably involve mainly motorcycles. If Stark is a supplier and Indians buy many of those bikes, then it would be a pretty good source of income for Stark.

I guess that the reason for which the logo of the modern Flyng Flea is a parachute is that the original one was dropped with a parachute in WW2.

That front Girder suspension, borrowed from the original old one, will maybe provide an anti-dive effect.
