How exactly does the throttle work?

Can anyone explain how the Stark throttle works exactly? Is it wireless to a certain extent with a position sensor and wireless communication to the VCU?

The throttle cable ends in a small box with sensor inside I would assume, and then has a connection / power lead to the bottom of the handlebar connector.

In one of the Stark company interview videos, they mention that it is not an in-house part, thus not wired through the inside of the handlebar like other electrical wiring. Apparently they will do that in future.

As I understand (and I may be wrong) the throttle has hall sensors that sense, or measure the amount of rotation, which send a variable voltage or current to the VCU through wires, no it is not wireless.
Perhaps @fsfs or another expert can chime in here...

Thanks for the link.

I know it's a hall sensor in the actual throttle, but what I'm wondering about is what exactly is in the small plastic box at the end of the throttle wire. The don't provide any information about that.
