I'm thinking of trying the GP this upcoming weekend on my Alta. Any other members going? And any idea how hard I can push it? I've heard from a local Expert that his MXR died last lap but I'm reeeeally hoping I can get my MX through a moto (or both with my generator) in the B Open. Either way I can bring my 250 with me if needed.

Hey!

The JDay GP at Southwick is a great event. The first and the last event of the season is at the 'Wick, and usually they have a winter event there.

Unless you're a Pro, you'll have no problem finishing the moto. Even the Pros can finish the moto if they ride the Alta more smoothly than they normally would an ICE bike.

I'll most likely be there. It's one of my favorite events of the year, and it's close so we don't need to camp out over the weekend.

Awesome great to hear! I've actually done this same round 3 years ago and the winter wick 2 years ago but I really wanted to do it on the Alta before I change the suspension. I'd love to meet up there if you can. I'm only an hour away so I'll come early in the morning on raceday.
