Loose sub-frame threaded inserts for the rear fender

The rear fender has a pair of hidden bolts under the side plastics. They go into the subframe, or rather they screw into threaded inserts in the subframe tubes.

So of course the inserts have come loose. Literally Anyone else have this happen?

Stark's recommended solution is to put high strength thread locker (stud locker) on the inserts to see if that'll fix them. Obviously I'll be adding anti-seize to the bolts.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I've rarely had good results from threaded inserts. There's several more at the top of the subframe to hold ancillary bits like cable brackets. That's fine - those aren't under much strain. But for the fender, that's a much more exposed component under higher stresses. So I'm not delighted about these inserts.

Shows how clueless they are, not a chance that will work I have the same problem. Most stopped using round inserts in favour of hexagon inserts many years ago, more poor cheap engineering from stark.
