The battery with 8 minutes on it was my original battery. The bike just turned off. They guessed at the problem and sent me a new battery. That was not the problem. So for some reason, they sent me the complete Gen 2 drive train, including another battery. Then the bike worked fine for 4 hours. Then the second battery they sent me failed
.
I sent them an email, obviously very upset, asking for them to just take the bike back. They would not.
So these crazy people were trying so hard to make me happy, they sent me another complete Gen 2 drivetrain again, including another battery.
Obviously all I needed was the new battery. The bike works perfectly, and only has 4.02 hours on it. It's pretty much sold. I drop it off next weekend.
So that leaves me with my original battery (8 minutes), and the first battery they sent me (45 minutes). I have tested both batteries in the bike and they work perfectly.
The Gen 2 drive unit in new in the box. I felt no need to install it in a bike with 4 hours on it.
Stark only wants my Gen 1 power unit and the failed battery back.
So I will recover my losses by selling these spare parts.
I payed $13,100 for the bike delivered to my house. I listed it for $9000 and was able to sell it.
I would take $5200 for all of it.
Obviously you will need to pick up or arrange shipping.
