This is exploding all over the interwebs: Taddy Blazusiak

Screenshot 2025-01-15 104627.jpeg

The videos clearly show him going full throttle, not sure what the "upredictable reaction of the motorcycle" claim is all about. Looks like the bike did exactly what you would expect when you go full throttle on it. Look at his hand, wrist, arm, clearly going down very quickly to full throttle.

I've watched that in slow motion, too and indeed it really seems like he had turned the throttle tube a lot and that the reaction of the Varg was what one would expect.
Someone in the comment section of the video hypotesizes that he wanted to skid the rear wheel to turn faster but there was too much grip.
Like this motorcycle hadn't been belittled enough just because it's electric...

If he wanted to do a skid turn, he would have laid the bike to the side, not kept it vertical. If he wanted to do a standing pivot turn, he miscalculated the distance to the beta, as the front wheel contacted it before it was even in the air.

Either that, or he was paid to show that SV is unreliable and/or unsafe; tinfoil hat and all.

Could be another moment, like this? There's gotta be more than this but it's possibly the worst moment for Stark right as they're launching the EX 🫣

It's all very strange. Hopefully Taddy will explain more about his claims of the Stark being unpredictable.

Regardless of what may be going on with the bike, Taddy's public posting about it in this way looks unprofessional.

Well, he has written that he apologizes for what happened, so it's more likely that he was referring to an accident involving someone else, too.
Agreed he must be referring to whatever it was that happened with Apolle but it remains to be seen if it was rider or bike and mostly, there's got to be more to it for him to be so pissed.

Must have been hard last year to learn at the last minute they were not allowed to race FIM Superenduro due to change of rules but he seemed to show patience, staying with Stark to develop the bike. Now they've just entered FIM Superenduro for good, they're launching Varg EX and this happens 🤯

Taddy had a bad first round then withdrawing between practice and races at round 2 was really odd. His teammate Eddie Karlsson is doing pretty good, plus Eddie is Swedish like Anton, makes me wonder what the atmosphere was in the team?

Can't believe Taddy was super happy then just this thing with Apolle would make him write off his contract like that, there must be more to it.

I think that the VARG is not the fitting bike for TB. Whenever I saw him riding it didn't look very smoothly.
Karlsson adapted much better to the new technology.
Maybe caused of
1. more weight of the bike and 5kg added
2. limited power
3. no clutch

TB was really successful over the years in MX and enduro - dominating. A star for many years!
But changing to Stark Future, changing the system wasn't one of his best decisions.
Maybe a question of the age, maybe not.

The action of an really experienced rider against this young man wasn't fair at all.
They didn't fight for 1st or 2nd.
It wasn't a technical mistake. He was angry and underestimated the reaction of the bike.

I guess to quit the contract was not only a decision of himself..........?!?

APOLLE's English facebook comment:

"Yep, that’s Taddy and me. A little bit of drama happend last weekend in timed practice and we all live and learn and we are just humans, trying to give our best on and off track. Launching a bike into someone is definitely not what a professionell Athlet does.. but anyway Obviously emotions are high, every racer knows what I am talking about. Crazy how the German crowd shout him down but he used to be my child hood hero so calm down and let’s keep going racing 1f91d.png"

The fact both Anton and Eddie (and myself) are Swedish I think has absolutely nothing to do with anything.
When they raced in Sweden the only people speaking swedish was Anton and Eddie. Taddy sounded like he was fluent in spanish (!) and since all the staff around them were spanish it seemed to me that Taddy was more "into" the team, if anything, than Eddie.

Taddy has been on decline for a pretty long time. Still extremely potent of course. He lost his seat at KTM and quit racing. Went back with GG and then ended up with Stark. He has not had any results in the last 5 (?) years. I love the guy but he's not on the level he once was.

A lack of clutch for enduro can't be easy to overcome, as a clutch is the ultimate way to neuter/manage power. Watching the Hard Enduro Burros where there is a Varg in play showcases this.

That said, there are better ways to handle all of this..

All conspiracies aside. Objectively looking at it from the angle that was more straight on in slow motion…..he cracked the throttle quite hard.

Just what it looked like. Only he knows….
