Unexpected Stark feature - tsunami alerts

NZ Civil Defence sends out tsunami alerts to our phones when there's a tsunami risk. Like right now with the magnitude 8 quake off Kamchatka.

So of course my Stark picked it up and started reading it out automatically.



Given I ride at the coast pretty often, this could be a good thing. Even if it's weird when my bike starts talking to me out of the blue

Its not a feature of STARK.
It is the GSM CELL BROADCAST.

Yes, I know how public warning systems work.

It's a feature of the Stark because no other motorbike uses a phone for a dashboard so no other motorbike will get these warnings.
