Varg Phone - Anyone add a US SIM card?

I like the idea of adding a second SIM card to my Varg phone. Mainly I'd use it to make voice calls or text if I'm running late or something. I was thinking of using a low cost $15/mo carrier like Optimum Mobile (a sub carrier of T-Mobile). But, when I called the carrier and gave them my IMEI, they told me that my phone is not compatible with their network. That's funny cause the phone shows the Varg SIM as using T-mobile. Has anyone had success in adding a US-based SIM to their Varg?

I'm no phone scientist, but it was simple. I ordered a 1 year pre paid Mint mobile Physical sim installed it in the phone , works great' BLACKVIEW BV6300 Pro is a Duel Sim Phone there are 2 spots for Physical sim cards. google installation if needed.
