I've always thought that fix was a bit sketchy for anything other than perfectly flat, firm and level ground. Especially if you haven't cut off that crazy auto-retract spool.
I've been very satisfied using the "screw stop" mod on the kickstand since I got my Varg in May.
Very simple and effective, it just keeps the kickstand from swinging too far forward and corrects the lean.
Adjustable by adding or removing washers under the screw head.
The foot doesn't sit perfectly flat, but I don't care, the lean is perfect.
I did cut off the crazy auto-retract spool as well.
