Thread Dedicated to Keeping Track of Firmware Versions

I got Firmware 1.8.0 last week. Tried it today! Immediately noticed a HUGE improvement in acceleration and traction the very first time I sat on the bike and twisted the throttle.

The track was a dry and dusty hardpack as usual. In the past, I fiddled with very low HP settings to make the bike comfortable in flat sweeper turns, I even ran as low as 30hp and 36hp. Today, I started with 42hp, then quickly moved up to 48hp and then 54hp, and stayed there for the rest of the day. I probably could have tried going higher if there had been a drop of water in all that dust covered clay. The power delivery felt like a rubber band. The rear end stayed planted and very controllable. It stepped out once or twice but not enough to surprise me like it did before. The front end felt light, hovering over the bumps during hard acceleration. I had the most fun track session in my recent memory. Even the battery power consumption improved too. Thank you, Stark!

Disclaimer: I haven't ridden my Stark for a few weeks due to a vacation. I hope I am not hallucinating, LOL! No, It can't be. It truly felt like riding a new bike.

Interesting.
I only had two sub-par rides with the 1.8.0 and haven't noticed any difference.
I currently have crippling arm-pump in the right forearm so it's difficult to focus pass that.

i notice a difference in behaviour since the 1.8.0 update, i have it like 3 weeks ago but i feel the bike worse... less power on the lower rpms, doesnt have the "Torque" feeling at the beggining of the throttle, my experience is now worse but im happy you like it

Is this on asphalt or off-road? What speed?

mainly on asphalt with SM set up... now until 40/50kmh the bike is "sleepy", doesnt have the same power than before at launch even at 60hp, then suddenly the power came from nowhere and puts my front wheel up and from then it feels kinda the same as before, but i 100% feel myself slower coming out of a corner for example... another example is that starting a wheelie from low speed is much harder now, doestn kick you up that easy/quickly and that sucks a lot for me...

im currently talking to Stark
