These spacers come included in the Warp 9 bearing kit together with two bearings, two seals, the tube that goes between the bearings -- all for $20 retail plus $5 shipping. I bought a rear wheel bearing kit last week.

Phillip, Thanks for the heads up on ordering parts direct from Warp9. I couldn’t find any spacers in their product list when I looked a couple of months ago. Regardless, I agreed to buy these spacers from gprix1 and I just sent him the $.

That is an extraordinarily low price for a wheel kit. Maybe they gave you the special ‘AoF Site Owner’ discount. Your price was about half of the dealer cost shown in the ALTA parts list we got a few weeks ago. ($25 is also less than half of what I have paid for the aftermarket kit for my KTM and a third of the price of the KTM OEM parts kit.)

I may talk with Warp9 about a set of spares for each axle while they are available. Wheel bearings, seals, and spacers are definitely wear items. Now if I can just figure a better way to get the rear SM wheel on and off without taking the caliper assembly apart each time.

Yes, I think that is the primary issue. It's a 5 inch wide fairly deep section KTM SMR wheel that I used on my 525 EXC before I built that bike into a dedicated rally bike. There is very little lateral clearance with the wide rim and no room to get the caliper into the wheel and onto the rotor with the caliper bracket hooked to the lug on the swingarm. So far I have only mounted it once and it seemed that I needed to either disassemble the caliper from the bracket or pull the disc off the wheel. More trouble than I had hoped, but it is a lot of fun once it is on the ALTA. :ricky: I'll work on improving the method next time I swap the wheels.

Or perhaps I just need to follow your lead and get a second bike !
