Arkenstone keeps turning on with bike off

No, don't shut the bike all the way down. There is a small battery in the VCU, if it goes dead while the bike is in full shutdown, you won't be able to turn it back on. I'm pretty sure Stark will warranty it and send you a new VCU, but you'll be down for a couple weeks while you email, wait for...

Both Tubes Patched On A New EX

I waited about 2.5 years for my fist Stark, and knew way in advance that the "Power Condoms" were just a gimmick to keep the claimed weight down. I received my bike in the crate, and changed out the front condom for a standard heavy duty tube before I ever rode the bike. I also put a tubliss on...

Have there been any EX deliveries yet? Post your delivery here.

I assume a Canadian could buy a bike from a US dealer, and then take it home and register it in Canada, but I am only guessing.

Solved HELP Power jerking after Drivetrain replacement (GEN2)

They will just extend your current warranty by the amount of time you didn't have access to your bike. Mine was down for about a month for the dealer to replace the battery, son they added a month to my original warranty.

    Stark Varg Ice Racing Build

Hello doates, Do you know if Marcel Fournier is still alive and making ice tires? I tried to call the phone number on his website, and couldn't get through. I thought I saw some news that he had passed away, but I'm totally clueless. I am interested in purchasing his "all purpose tires." If you...

Front sprocket not centered after install (Stark Varg EX) — normal or issue?

I didn’t loctite mine, just torqued to 80 Nm. There was still remains of dried Loctite on the bolt, not sure if that will do anything though.

Front sprocket not centered after install (Stark Varg EX) — normal or issue?

@Julo EX, I happened to change my front sprocket today. What I found was that the bolt has a shoulder that fits the I.D. of the washer. The shoulder is bigger than the threaded diameter of the bolt, as is the I.D. of the washer. So it takes some care to get the shoulder of the bolt inside the...

    Chain slack

Yes, it is an upgrade. Gen 1 had a black plastic inverter cover, that is some cases developed cracks at the mounting bolts. The Gen 2 also has an improved charge plug. Just look closely the first time you remove the charge plug cover, there is a button on the bottom to release it.

How exactly does the throttle work?

As I understand (and I may be wrong) the throttle has hall sensors that sense, or measure the amount of rotation, which send a variable voltage or current to the VCU through wires, no it is not wireless. Perhaps @fsfs or another expert can chime in here...

Anyone mounted a rear rack yet?

Yes, that's it, and he also showed a little more detail in the last 2 posts of this thread: https://electricdirtriders.com/threads/portable-charger.4208/page-2#post-48385

Anyone mounted a rear rack yet?

I can't find it right now, but there is a thread with photos where a guy did a DIY mount of a plastic case to the fender to carry his charger. It looked pretty well done with some bracketry.

Front sprocket not centered after install (Stark Varg EX) — normal or issue?

After looking at this picture, it looks like you may have the washer on top of the spline (at the top), instead of "around" it. So yes, loosen it up and center the washer, and re-torque.
