while being cool as can be sur rons are still toys not motorcycles. frame, suspension, wheels and brakes prove that. at 67, 6'3" and 260 lbs i chased the sur ron dream...i"ve since made a complete recovery!

hey joe, welcome. this forum is mainly for non pedal, throttle operated motorcycle type bikes. i am 67 and also ride ebikes and find like minded old farts on ebikesforum.com lots of older and/or injured folks who wouldn't be riding if not for ebikes. check them out. i am from pa. near new hope...

i hope honda loses a lot of the cowlings. i just don't like it when they cover up a motorcycle, that's where the beauty lies.

that's a very generous offer, i already have an extra battery and very, very low mileage on my two so i have no need of them, but i hope yours find a good home...you're a good person.

and on that note, i have an extra battery for my alta and it is a hassle to recharge the battery periodically. is there any kind of attachment i could buy or make to hook my charger, for an mx, to that battery without using the bike? ps, i am old and stupid so no overly complicated answers please.

gentlemen you are being short sighted here. the obvious answer is swappable and standardization of batteries. if we all used the same battery you could swap them quickly and it could be like exchanging propane tanks, back riding in 5 minutes or less. that way you don't own the battery, your...
